The park covers 183 acres of land alongside a top-rated fishing lake in the state of Florida. It provides families, organizations, and community groups with several recreational activities and scenic views. The park also has nature trails, a fishing pier, disc golf courses, picnic sites, playgrounds, and offers outdoor environmental education opportunities.
The city has installed power to the pavilion at the Drone Zone, which now includes a shelf and multiple outlets. This allows participants to charge their battery packs without leaving the site.
The park can host festivals, fundraiser walks, 5K's, and other large events. It also offers transportation grants for Orange County Schools and has a Park Naturalist who provides enchanting tales under the shade of the trees.
From November to March, the park is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. From April to October, the park is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Visitors can learn about the secret lives of American alligators at the park and discover that there is more to these prehistoric creatures than meets the eye. The park also offers a Storywalk through the Nature Connect Trail for a whimsical journey.
